The Carrot

The carrot contains an orange pigment called ‘beta-carotene’ which is the main ingredient in all of our tanning products. Its main property being the ability to boost melanin production which ultimately gives our skin that instant and natural tanning result.
The human body also converts beta-carotene to vitamin A. Whilst being an essential vitamin for healthy skin, Vitamin A also contains antioxidant properties and helps to strengthen the skin.
Sesame Oil & Calendula Extract
Aside from providing a rich and radiant tan, our Intensive Tanning Gel also helps moisturise and hydrate the skin. This is done through the power of sesame oil and calendula extract.
Both of these key ingredients also contain other elements that are very beneficial.
Sesame oil is enriched with essential fatty acids and Vitamin E which helps protect the skin cells from UV damage, whilst calendula extract promotes skin tightness to reduce day to day damage.

We highly recommend the use of an SPF50+ sunscreen before application of any tanning product. After a day out in the sun, it is also beneficial to incorporate an after-sun product into your routine to avoid any dryness and ensure the skin stays nourished and hydrated.
